Leigh first got involved with Groundswell in 2018 when he assisted with relocation of the charities offices. Groundswell made such a huge impression on Leigh that he wanted to be a part of it!
Combining both his own personal experiences and extensive expertise as a health and social care support worker, Leigh spent the pandemic working with the Find and Treat specialist outreach team, working alongside over 200 NHS trusts and front-line services supporting people experiencing homelessness across to access COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. During 2022 Leigh moved to a new role in Groundswell, working with people in the borough of Southwark who are homeless to navigate healthcare services and improve their health.
